Trip.Biz, the business travel management brand of Trip.com Group, together with SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”), a signature enterprise in Macau’s integrated tourism and leisure industry, successfully convened the “2025 South Korea Business Travel Summit” in Seoul. Participated by the representative from Macao Government Tourism Office (“MGTO”) Korea Representative Office, and with SJM as a sponsoring partner, the event brought together representatives from numerous prominent Korean enterprises and groups to explore the digital transformation in business travel management, ecosystem collaboration, and future industry trends.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Sherwin Dai, General Manager of Trip.Biz Greater China & North Asia; Mr Eugene Tan, General Manager of Southeast Asia and Global Partnerships at Trip.Biz; Mr. Chris Lew, General Manager of MGTO Korea Representative Office; and Ms. Porcia Leung, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Corporate Brand and Marketing of SJM.
“Trip.Biz’s vision is to be the most trusted and leading global business travel partner. We aim to meet customer needs through our products, technology, and services, create value for our clients, and support all the people behind business travel,” said Mr. Sherwin Dai. “By collaborating with ecosystem partners, we can address evolving industry demands, continuously enhance user experiences, and deliver success together.”
Ms. Porcia Leung of SJM, remarked, “We are delighted to support the summit for the second year, a clear testament that Korea has become a priority market for Macau. Over the past year, SJM has enriched its portfolio with new dining concepts, expanded MICE venues such as the Garden House and The Grand Hall, and curated unique cultural and sporting experiences, together creating fresh opportunities for business travel and incentive programmes. By partnering with Trip.Biz and leveraging its unparalleled data-driven insights, we can share these highlights with the right partners, opening new pathways for collaboration that deepen our ties with the Korean market and deliver more rewarding experiences for travellers.”
During the summit, SJM presented its diverse portfolio of venues and services, including the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”)—the world’s only integrated resort featuring two fashion-branded hotels under one roof—highlighting its ability to craft unforgettable experiences for business travellers. These experiences featured exceptional facilities, dining options, and culturally rich events tailored to their needs. The summit concluded with a lucky draw offering complimentary SJM hotel stays, inviting partners and visitors to explore Macau's unique blend of East and West.
Guests enjoyed an atmosphere combining dining with interactive cultural experiences, including a Korean-Macanese buffet and an SJM interactive booth showcasing Macau’s cultural highlights and business event possibilities. A highlight was the Mesa Bar pop-up from the Grand Lisboa Palace, where attendees savoured Macau-inspired cocktails created by Frederick Ma, SJM’s Resort Master Mixologist and the 2024 World Bartender of the Year at the International Bartenders Association (“IBA”) World Cocktail Championship.
