The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 kicked off in Barcelona, Spain, on March 3. UniCom showcased several cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements under the theme, “5G-A Empowering, AI Transforming, Digital Living,” covering international planning, government- and enterprise-side digital transformation , upgrade of network capabilities and smart home ecosystem.

At the “Global Digitalization” exhibition area, UniCom demonstrates its “digital map” of the global computing network. UniCom is deeply engaged in the international network infrastructure and has built a global “information highway” to provide high-quality computing network, data centers, and integrated cloud-network-edge services for multinational enterprises. The digital sand table of the global smart park at the exhibition area visually presents UniCom’s digital and intelligent-enabled products and solutions, creating empowerment value in multiple scenarios.

UniCom’s self-developed UniAI “1+1+M” large language model and trusted data space system are regarded as the centerpiece at the “AI Capabilities and Applications” exhibition area. This system that includes a basic large model, a large model platform, industry large model application and an integrated trusted data service platform is reshaping the operational paradigms across numerous sectors, including public welfare, healthcare, cultural and creative industries, education, and urban governance.

In the field of traffic scenarios and low-altitude economy, the intelligent whole-process management of smart ride-hailing, smart driving and smart parking has improved the users’ mobility experience. 5G panoramic remote control drone, which is characterized by immersive perception, real-time remote control, and intelligent ease of use, has already been applied to multiple scenarios.

Based on the world’s largest 5G network it has co-built and shared with China Telecom, UniCom harnesses the new 5G-A technology to enhance 5G application connectivity capacity by nearly tenfold, and plans to achieve 5G-A coverage in over 300 cities and establish 10,000 5G factories for commercial use in industries, such as automotive, appliance manufacturing, among others by 2025. UniCom joins hands with GSMA to showcase the latest achievements in Open Gateway, which empowers cross-border private lines, event live-streaming and other industry applications through the opening of over 90 network APIs across six categories.

In the “Home Scenario” interactive area, UniCom’s newly upgraded Hi-CON communications systems elevates home network performance to a new level. AI smart terminals, including Tone AI, AI eSIM tablets and VS057 smart routers, meet the core needs of home scenarios, giving users a more convenient and warmer experience. In terms of home cloud services, UniCom Cloud Smart Phone, Integrated UniAI , DeepSeek and mainstream AI models meet the needs of individual and home users across the board..
