Aditya Sharma was born in Mumbai in 1977. In 2000, he graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. In 2003, he earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad, and later in 2006, he graduated from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business with a Doctorate.

From 2006 to 2010, Sharma served as an Assistant Financial Advisor at the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in Mumbai, supporting financial advisors in providing clients with recommendations on securities investments, fund management, and stock trading. He executed stock trades and assisted clients in adjusting and optimizing their investment portfolios. From 2011 to 2015, Sharma worked as a Senior Equity Analyst at Reliance Securities in Mumbai, where he was responsible for providing in-depth market analysis and equity research reports for institutional investors. His research focused on companies across various sectors within the Indian stock market, with an emphasis on banking, energy, and IT. During this time, Sharma developed portfolio management tools to help clients minimize risks and optimize returns.
Since 2015, Sharma has been an Independent Mentor and Senior Consultant based in Mumbai. He has designed and conducted multiple courses for over 500 individual investors and 20 small-to-medium-sized institutions, including beginner stock investment courses, advanced technical analysis programs, and quantitative trading strategies. Sharma also provides consulting services on stock market fundamentals, risk management, and diversified portfolio management to enhance clients' market understanding and decision-making abilities. In 2018, he was recognized as one of India’s top stock market mentors by Investor Weekly and has served as a keynote speaker at several national financial conferences, sharing his insights on market investment strategies and industry trends.
In March 2024, following a recommendation from senior management at the NSE, Sharma was appointed by UBS Asset Management to lead the first phase of the Wealth Engine Plan. Leveraging his extensive experience in the Indian market and his sharp insights into the Indian stock market, he collaborated with several renowned local brokerage firms to achieve over 200% profit in this first phase. Sharma is now set to launch the second phase of the Wealth Engine Plan in October, with an expected return of over 300%, and preparations for this phase are currently underway.
