Recently, 2026 Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) International Road Cycling Race was held in Dongying, east China’s Shandong province, drawing 18 teams from 30 countries and regions to compete in a speed and endurance race on a 150.6-kilometer wetland ecological course.

Leveraging Dongying's unique ecological scenery at the Yellow River estuary and the Yellow River-side highways, this event combines sports with eco-cultural tourism, presenting an international road cycling event that features professional standards and urban charm.
The race track highlights local characteristics while delivering competitive challenges. Both the start and finish lines are located at Longjuhu Square of Dongying. The total race distance is 150.6 kilometers, running along the Yellow River dikes and its wetland corridors.


Finally, Bereznyak Aleksandr claimed the individual title with a time of 3 hours, 15 minutes and 29 seconds, while his team Wheeltop Rotor Chengdu Continental topped the standings to secure the overall team championship.
This event is a key leg of the Asia Tour of UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale). Drawing on Dongying's expansive wetland cityscape and distinctive scenery along the Yellow River, it showcases the ecological achievements in the development of the Yellow River Estuary National Park and the protection of world natural heritage, further boosting Dongying's global reputation as an “International Wetland City”.
